Where Have You Gone Joe DiMaggio?

Hey all...Sorry had to take a bit of an extended break.

Here is why: The blog really turned into another full-time job on top of my 1.5x current job as well as being a parent and needing time to decompress. Also I had some really nasty posts about this blog on other blogs and realy thought...what's the point!

So frankly I didn't even look at my email on this account for over a week, but when I did I was very pleasantly surprised with well wishes and good thoughts from other blogs that I enjoy.

So I do miss writing, but probably not at the two post a day clip right now given crazy work demands!

So thank you all very much for the warm thoughts and I hope you will visits my new content coming soon!

Glad to see you back! You were about at that point where the first round of "blogger fatigue" is supposed to set in. Kudos on making it through, it was hard for me. Doing just 1 post a day or something less can still work out for you. I've cut back to pretty much one a day so I'll have time to pursue other interests...

Take care of yourself. :)

Welcome back! I missed your posts.

Ignore the meanness of pathetic wretches (imagine having nothing better to do with your time than to post nasty comments on a blog!) and direct their remarks where they belong: to the trash.

I'm finding about one post a day is as much as I can manage most of the time, too. Otherwise I fall into a black hole in the morning and come back into our universe, gray-haired and wrinkled, sometime around noon, having spent an entire lifetime in hyperspace.

At least, i assume that's where the gray hair & wrinkles came from! ;-)

Lately, if I can manage writing enough copy for two or three posts in a single day, I spread them out over two or three days instead of posting them all at once. Some days it really helps not to have to come up with something new.

RacerX - don't let people get you down... I think maybe your taking some time to put this whole blog thing into perspective... it's easy to get addicted to something and hopefully your getting this blogging thing in balance with the real priorities in your life. Don't give up though... you seem to enjoy your blog and your readers/blogging friends enjoy it too. Don't let other people's crap become toxic to you!!! Blessings...

Welcome back! I don't know what negative comments you're talking about (I live in a cave) - but to hell with anyone who gives you a hard time online. Stupid cyber bullies!

I've also enjoyed blogging a lot more since I cut back the pace - I feel like I'm putting out better content now, too.

racerx, I didn't realize you were gone, because I was on a bit of a hiatus myself. Anyway, welcome back!

Don't let those mean bloggers stop you from posting. I enjoy your blog!
